What is DISCO NRG?

DISCO NRG is the first North American ParaPara Circle (or Parasa, パラサー in Japanese), according to Japanese circle group rules. We are made up of members from across the country and want to spread the word of ParaPara. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT A TEAM AND WHAT A CIRCLE IS. Amongst our circle, there CAN be teams inside of the circle. The point of a circle is to spread out and include as many people as we can that fit our criteria.

Are you planning on expanding DISCO NRG?

Yes. New people who want to join have to be friends with a current member and be approved by all members if they want to join. We have a certain criteria for members, which are revealed below. We are not accepting applications to join DiscoNRG at this time.

How do I join DISCO NRG?

DISCO NRG is by invite only. Here is the criteria you must/should follow:

1. You must keep up to date with newer dances (4th boom).
2. You MUST support ParaPara/Eurobeat/etc releases! DISCO NRG members hate piracy.
3. You must have at least a little bit of knowledge about clubs. If you don't know what Twinstar, SEF, STAR FIRE, 9LoveJ, etc are, you can't join.
4. Know AT LEAST 100+ routines.
5. Be an active participant in the ParaPara community, like ParaParaStage or the ParaPara LJ Community.
6. Must be friends with at least one member of DISCO NRG.
7. Must be approved by ALL the other members of DISCO NRG.
8. Must try to keep up with the DISCO NRG chats (either on MSN or AIM). The chats are not only limited to DISCO NRG.
9. You must have a favorite Madonna song. We cannot accept you unless you tell us one. Besides from listing the song(s), tell us WHY it is your favorite (ie if it holds special meaning to you, if you like the beats in it, etc).
10. You must be fashionable.
11. If you are not fashionable, then you must film yourself in a video wearing garter pants and/or a boa and feather fan.

Why do you have these rules to join DISCO NRG?

We are known for being good paralists, and we would like to keep this trend the same with all incoming members. Our videos are used as reference for learning new routines across the world, and even in Japan. Our circle is regarded and known throughout the main Japanese ParaPara community as well, so we must keep these high standards.

Besides, why would we want someone we barely know in DISCO NRG? Everyone of us are close friends and have inside jokes with each other that no one else would understand.
